have recently found myself doing remedials on a new build estate and have been asked if i would like to test and issue certs for approx 120 houses.
Never worked on any of these builds so it wouldn't be acceptable to then sign them off as it would be another persons work, quick chat with few other sparks and this is quite common?
price is £75 per unit with faults/remedials charged at £14 p/hr
site manager said last spark completed 8/10 in a day!
said he tested one correctly and blagged the next five after functional test.
sums up part p, so long as theres paperwork where there should be paperwork thats all that matters
and no i turned them down, cant stand working all week on sites, does my head in doing exactly the same thing everyday
