I presume you mean the shower feed (Is this correct) off the incoming side of the main switch?

I wonder what other members think (which is safest)?



Protection only by RCD (from the HED) or Non RCD and the correct sized MCB?

Correct sized MCB without hesitation. After all a RCD is only additional protection not basic protection.

It would be usual to fit the correct size breaker for shower circuit and then additional protection with R.C.D .
